At Belle Mia Boutique, we aim to provide a smooth and reliable shipping experience. Please read the following information carefully, as it outlines both our shipping process and your responsibilities as a customer.

Customer Responsibilities

Once an order is fulfilled and shipped, all risk of loss, delay, damage, or non-delivery transfers to the customer. Boutique Belle Mia shall not be liable for any delivery failure resulting from inaccurate address information, unavailability to receive the package, refusal of delivery, or failure to comply with carrier or customs requirements. This includes:

  • Providing an accurate and complete shipping address
  • Ensuring someone is available to receive the package
  • Following the delivery information provided by the carrier
  • Complying with all customs clearance procedures, including payment of duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other regulatory requirements imposed by the destination country

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or lost shipments.

Delivery Confirmation, Fulfillment, and Safe Receiving Location

By placing an order through our store, the customer acknowledges and agrees that shipments may be delivered without signature confirmation and may be left unattended at the delivery address, including outdoors or in unsecured areas, as determined by the carrier (e.g., Canada Post, USPS, or international postal and courier services). The customer expressly consents to this method of delivery and accepts all associated risks.

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, Boutique Belle Mia shall not be liable for theft, loss, or damage occurring after delivery. This includes deliveries made to residential, commercial, or multi-unit addresses where packages may be left at a front door, porch, mailbox, concierge desk, or other accessible location.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is secure, accessible, and suitable for receiving packages. This includes selecting a location where deliveries can be safely left, monitoring tracking updates, and retrieving packages promptly. Boutique Belle Mia strongly recommends shipping to a location where someone is available to receive the package in person or where secure drop-off arrangements are in place.

If theft or loss occurs after confirmed delivery, customers must contact the carrier directly to initiate a claim. We reserve the right to decline liability for any claims arising from unattended deliveries unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Orders are considered fulfilled once they are shipped and tracking information is issued. Any subsequent delivery issues must be addressed directly with the carrier.

By completing a purchase, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and knowingly accepted this clause as part of our shipping and delivery policy.

This policy applies to all orders shipped within Canada, the United States, and internationally.

Shipping Options & Free Shipping

Free shipping is available on qualifying orders over CDN $100.00, subject to destination eligibility, carrier availability, and the presence of a reliable postal or courier service. Boutique Belle Mia reserves the right to exclude certain regions or apply surcharges for remote, high-cost, or logistically restricted delivery zones.

Take advantage of our Free Shipping & Easy Returns whenever possible. Please note that free shipping does not guarantee service to all global destinations. Orders may be declined, modified, or subject to additional fees if the destination lacks adequate delivery infrastructure or carrier support.

Estimated Delivery Times

For in-stock items, typical shipping times are as follows:

  • Canada: 2 to 5 business days
  • United States: 5 to 7 business days
  • Europe: 7 to 14 business days
  • Oceania: 7 to 10 business days (some exceptions apply)
  • Africa: 7 to 10 business days (some exceptions apply)
  • Asia: 7 to 10 business days (some exceptions apply)

Most orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours. Tracking information is typically provided within 3 to 4 business days. Delivery timelines are estimates only and do not constitute binding guarantees. Boutique Belle Mia shall not be held liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather conditions, labor disruptions, or other force majeure events beyond its control.

Please note: During holidays, special events, or backorders, fulfillment and shipping times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these cases.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Shipping Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to any conflict of law principles that would result in the application of the laws of another jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and customers irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
